The Valor Fitness Pro Dumbbell Set is made of steel and high density rubber. The handles are knurled chrome steel for a solid grip. The ergonomic handle assures a firm grip. All Dumbbell weights have the same diameter. Density and weight changes withthe number of plates added including changes in the beveled rubber cover which allows for all dumbbells to have the same appearance. Heavy Duty Rubber cups allows a firm and strong grip on your pro style dumbbells OR the holders can be removed for use with a set of hex style dumbbells.
